Hello my loves!
I'm SO sorry that I haven't been on much lately. I've been SO busy! I promise to get back to everyone as soon as I can! I'm still working on the War and Peace Quote post by the way!
In the meantime, and in honor of Dr. Seuss's birthday today, I decided to do some movie reviews. Especially since I saw
The Lorax at midnight last night. I went with Sarah N. to see them this week.

The first movie review is about The Woman in Black starring Daniel Radcliffe. This movie has been out a while as well but I finally got to see it. This movie was SUPER suspenseful and that is what made this movie scary. You are basically on the edge of your seat waiting for something to jump out and scare you. I jumped several times throughout this movie and Sarah N. did too! In fact, she jumped more than me.
Basically, this movie is about a woman dressed in black who seeks revenge by killing the children of anyone that sees her. She's upset because her sister took her son from her, and she's upset because her son ends up dying (drowning) in her sister's care. Arthur Kipps (played by Daniel Radcliffe) attempts to give her peace by uniting the mother with her child but to no avail. She wants revenge and will never forgive. I HATE the ending of this movie and that's what killed it for me. In a way, it's supposed to be a happy one but I don't see it that way. In the end... No, I won't give it away. I may not have liked the ending but it's totally worth seeing at least once!

The second movie review is on
21 Jump Street starring the SEXY Channing Tatum and funny Jonah Hill. Yes, it doesn't come out until
March 16 and I've already seen it! I got 2 tickets to an advance screening of it and invited Sarah N. to see it with me since she's always letting me see movies for free with her. The advance screening was yesterday at 7:30 pm. We got there early hoping to be towards the front of the line but the line was pretty long when we go there, and we got there around 6:15 pm.
This movie was WELL worth the wait! This movie is SO AMAZING and SO AWESOME! I'm not kidding you, this movie is HILARIOUS! It's like one of my favorite comedy movies now! I laughed SO hard and SO much! Sarah N. laughed a lot as well! Channing Tatum is so funny! He has great comedic timing, and the back-and-forth between Jonah Hill and him is perfect! They definitely have comedic chemistry and they play off of each other VERY well!
I won't give too much of the movie away but it's basically about two cops going undercover as high school students to find a drug supplier. Jenko (played by Channing) was popular in high school and Schmidt, (played by Jonah) was a nerd in high school. But things change when they go back to high school the second time around. They weren't friends in high school but they become friends during police training. Will they remain friends as they go back to high school?...
Plus, there's a VERY HOT surprise cameo that made all of the ladies (including me) in the screening clap and scream! I plan on seeing this movie again! Trust me, it's that good! And I DEFINITELY recommend this movie to anyone and everyone that's of age (this movie is rated R)! It's SO funny!

The third movie review is on The Lorax. The Lorax is a VERY cute movie. I liked it a lot. First, it's important that movie-goers understand that The Lorax (voiced by Danny DeVito) and The Once-ler (voiced by Ed Helms) are the main characters of this story, and not Ted (voiced by Zac Efron) and Audrey (voiced by Taylor Swift). I believe that the trailer is deceiving when it comes to that. Especially, for those (like me) who haven't read the story...
Other than that, this movie is so cute and very family oriented! This movie is about Ted's search for a real tree to impress Audrey. Danny Devito is so funny as The Lorax, Zac Efron is so adorable as Ted, and Betty White is awesome voicing Grammy Norma! This story sends out a great message. Oh, and in my opinion, it's totally worth seeing in 3-D! The setting of this story is so beautiful and it pops in 3-D. The singing fishes are so cute in this movie and the little bears are too! This movie is EXTREMELY cute! I definitely recommend this movie to children and to all of those that are young at heart!
Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss! :)
These are just my opinions and my reviews of these movies. If you disagree with them, that's okay. We are all entitled to our opinions.
Hope you enjoyed this post!
Love always,
LaTasha B.
