D-Xirable Poem! Kent M. Keith "The Paradoxical Commandments"!

Hello, my wonderful and amazing loves!

Here is another one of my fave poems. It's "The Paradoxical Commandments" by Kent M. Keith. I love how this poem encourages you to stay positive despite the negatives. I love how it tells us to love people anyway, to do good anyway, to succeed anyway, to be honest anyway, to think big anyway, to build anyway, to help people anyway, and to do your best. It's a very encouraging and inspiring poem.

The Paradoxical Commandments
By Kent M. Keith

People are illogical, unreasonable, and self-centered.
Love them anyway.

If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish ulterior motives.
Do good anyway.

If you are successful, you will win false friends and true enemies.
Succeed anyway.

The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow.
Do good anyway.

Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable.
Be honest and frank anyway.

The biggest men and women with the biggest ideas can be shot down by the smallest men and women with the smallest minds.
Think big anyway.

People favor underdogs but follow only top dogs.
Fight for a few underdogs anyway.

What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight.
Build anyway.

People really need help but may attack you if you do help them.
Help people anyway.

Give the world the best you have and you'll get kicked in the teeth.
Give the world the best you have anyway.

I hope you enjoyed the post and poem by Kent M. Keith!

I came across this beautiful poem a while ago. It's called "Blessed" by Deborah Ann. I think it's a great poem to read whenever you're having a bad day. It's so encouraging, inspiring, and uplifting.

Blessed!

Look at me,
I am wonderfully made
I am so delighted to be
skillfully, wonderfully made and formed
into marvelous ~ wonderful me.

Look at me,
I am fearfully made
I am so glad to be
brilliantly, amazingly made and formed
into the likeness ~ of Thee.

Look at yourself,
look at what God has made
I am so happy for you
magnificently, superbly made and formed
fearfully, skillfully ~ wonderful you.

Look at us,
look who we’ve become
now that our life has been transformed
we’re so very blessed to be
fearfully, wonderfully made and formed!

D-Xirable Art! Bryce Cameron Liston Paintings!

Hello, my wonderful and amazing loves!

Another painter that I love is Bryce Cameron Liston. I love how beautiful and realistic his paintings are. He does an amazing job with the female figure and form! He also does an amazing job with abstract expressionism. I don't know the titles of these paintings, however, they are beyond beautiful and amazing!

The Artist - Bryce Cameron Liston

“Being an artist and painting the human figure is what compels me.
It wakes me up at night, it's what I love and I drive myself to do it very well.
Art is my life-long obsession, pleasure and torment".

“I wanted to learn about the craft of art. I wanted to learn to actually produce art, not just discuss it.” ~Bryce Cameron Liston

"But Bryce will be the first to tell you he is a self taught artist."

“It was a subject that excited me- I always had energy and interest for it.” It was here that Liston found his love of the human form. “I don't quite know why I was drawn to the human form; I suspect the seed was planted while studying the art of the great American Illustrators like N.C. Wyeth and Howard Pyle.” ~Bryce Cameron Liston

"The artist has within himself the power to convey the idea of what it means to be human. Great art connects us and bonds us; it’s about this experience of being human. To me to focus on the human form is the highest form of art. The human body contains within it the spirit of life itself".
 ~Bryce Cameron Liston

"At the age of 16 Salaam realized that it was necessary to change his ways of the production of his art from pencil, markers, and colored pencils to acrylic oil paints."

"His number one concern was how can he relate better to the masses of the poor and oppressed suffering people of the world who's lacking love, spirituality, economics, food, clothing, and sheler. But more importantly GOD."

"Due to social networking; Salaam is now in the pursuit of taking full advantage to change visual art into visionary art and bringing forth a new profound culture of peace and prosperity."
