D-Xirable Art! Goyo Dominguez Paintings!

Hello my wonderful and amazing loves,

Continuing with posts about my favorite painters/artists, another painter/artist that I like is Goyo Dominguez. I really love his female portraits. They are incredibly detailed and really beautiful. I also love the flower headpieces that he includes in most of his portraits.

Goyo Dominguez

Goyo Dominguez's compositions, depicted with great technical skill and style, are compelling and serene, often with enchanting subject matters. His fascination with works of the 16th and 17th centuries inspires his favourite themes; still life, the human body and landscape. The intriguing result is a contemporary fusion of Renaissance Europe and the Classical World, often combined with elements of the abstract, transcending the classical past and the present day.

Here are some of my favorite paintings/portraits/artwork by Goyo Dominguez:

D-Xirable Art! Henry Asencio Paintings!

Hello my wonderful and amazing loves,

Again, it has been a couple months since my last post. I've been busy doing other things.
However, I've decided to do a few posts about some of my favorite painters/artists.
I came across these painters/artists not too long ago and I enjoy their work so much that I decided that it would be nice to highlight their work on my blog.

The first painter/artist is Henry Asencio. I really love his paintings and I love how he paints the female form. Also, I love his use of color.

"I believe with all of my heart that there is nothing as noble as the figure, especially the female form."
- Henry Asencio

Henry Asencio

Henry Asencio’s painting style is loosely defined in a contemporary format, combining elements of expressionism and realism with abstract painting techniques. Asencio’s art has been described as “Abstract Expressionism” and “Abstract Realism”.

I hope you all had a wonderful and amazing Easter Day this past Sunday! :)

Sending prayers to South Korea.
Heartbreaking to hear about the ferry Sewol that recently sank.
So many lives (especially students) lost.
My love goes out to their families.

Also, sending prayers to Malaysia.
Hopefully, they will find the missing plane (Flight 370) soon so that the families can find a little peace.
My love goes out to their families as well.

With love,

A D-Xirable Holiday: Happy LOVE Day!

Hello, my wonderful and amazing loves!

It has been a while since I've posted anything. I've been busy with other things I suppose. :)
Anyways, since today is "Valentine's Day", "Single Awareness Day", or  "LOVE Day" (as I call it), I've decided to do a post about love and kindness.

I recently came across this wonderful website: http://www.givesmehope.com/.
On this website there's a lot of beautiful and amazing stories about love, friendship, kindness, and hope.
It's really nice to look at whenever you are feeling down because you get to read all of these inspiring and beautiful stories about so many kind people.

I figured that I would share some of my favorite stories from this site since it's Valentine's Day/LOVE Day. These are real stories from various people around the world. I would list the names of those who shared/posted these incredible stories onto the site, however, I just saved the pictures of the stories and not the names. Sorry!
However, you are more than welcome to browse through the site and see who they are. :)

Some of my favorite stories:

These are my top 3 favorite stories:

This is extremely beautiful! Talk about devotion and a love that never dies!

This one made me cry the first time I read it.
To lose someone you love only to have them save your life, that's tragically beautiful.
The ultimate sacrifice for love.
And the strength that this woman has, even more beautiful.

Again, a love that never dies, so beautiful!

I hope that these stories help make your Valentine's Day/LOVE Day a little more sweeter or a little more pleasant and hopeful! Please check out the site whenever you are in the need of inspiration and encouragement!

Last but not least, a lovely poem by Emily Dickinson:

"If I Can Stop One Heart From Breaking" by Emily Dickinson

If I can stop one heart from breaking,
I shall not live in vain;
If I can ease one life the aching,
Or cool one pain,
Or help one fainting robin
Unto his nest again,
I shall not live in vain.

Thank you for reading this post. I hope you have a lovely Valentine's Day/LOVE Day/Single Awareness Day/Friday! :)

With love,
