Today’s post will be super short! 

These were a few of my moments of self-care today.

11:Eleven Care Co’s “Calm It Down” Scrub

I started my day with a nice, relaxing bath using this lavender scrub, “Calm It Down” from @11elevencareco!

Melanated Essentials “Zen Meditation” Essential Oil Roll-On

I used this “Zen Meditation” blend by @melanated_essentials for my next step of self-care. The plan was to do a meditation shortly after I put it on my neck and wrist, however, I didn’t do meditation until the end of the day.

I listened to “Experience Your Mind Like an Ocean Meditation”

I couldn’t connect with the first meditation that I chose tonight so I did another one. The second meditation was “Experience Your Mind Like an Ocean Meditation” recorded by @ms.melanatedessentials! It was 12 minutes long. I connected with this one a lot better than the first one.

These were some of my moments of self-care today.

Nature picture while getting some fresh air

This morning, I went outside and got a breath of fresh air before I went to work. It’s still cold outside but I enjoyed the air.

Melanated Essentials - “Invigorating Blend” Essential Oil roll-on

I used @melanated_essentials “Invigorating Blend” roll-on essential oil for a moment of self-care. I love the smell of this roll-on. I put it on my neck and wrist. It was a good choice as it did awaken and relax me.

Close to 10 minutes “Ocean” Meditation recorded by Shaunte

I listened to an “Ocean” meditation this morning recorded by @ms.melanatedessentials. I love being by an ocean. It’s my happy place. So, I enjoyed listening to this meditation and visualizing being at the beach. It was a nice, approx. 10 minute meditation.

Daily Gratitude by Calm

Another item of self-care today. Things I’m grateful for using the @calm App - Faith, Family, and Friends.

Here were some of my self-care moments and moments of reflection today...

Beach sunset in the Bahamas

Early morning reflection: I miss the beach and the ocean. I normally try to take a trip to the beach during the year but this year was different. Due to COVID, the trip that my best friend and I had planned was cancelled... I miss seeing the ocean, especially the ocean at sunset. This is a photo from my trip to the Bahamas in 2019 with my best friend.

Speaking of the sun, I woke up early enough today to see the sunrise. I haven’t seen a sunrise in a while. Normally, I would see it on my way into work but since I haven’t been in the office lately, I haven’t went outside to see it.

Lavender Scented Candle from 11:Eleven Care Co

I bought this lavender scent candle from @11elevencareco. I finally lit it today for a moment of self-care. I love the smell of this candle!!! As you already know, I love lavender!!!

Favorite Tree (Especially during the Fall)

I went on another quick walk today since it was decent outside. I took a picture of my favorite tree. I really love this tree in the Fall because she has really pretty red autumn leaves on her. Of course, she doesn’t now because it’s winter but maybe I’ll get another photo of her next Fall.

Nestle Mini Marshmallow Hot Cocoa

Last self-care picture of the day. Today’s drink of choice is hot cocoa. I love hot cocoa. I normally drink it every morning in the office but since I’m at home, I occasionally drink it every now and then. At work, I normally add some vanilla creamer but since we don’t keep that at home, I drink it with sugar instead. It’s @nestleusa Mini Marshmallow Hot Cocoa.

D-Xirable Vacations! Orlando, Florida - April 11-13, 2009!

Hello, my wonderful and amazing loves!

In honor of my twiny/big sis, Ja, and I vacation to Las Vegas, Nevada coming up soon for our birthdays, I've decided to post some pictures from our previous vacations.

My twiny/big sis, Ja, and I first vacation was in Orlando, Florida in April 11-13, 2009!

It was AMAZING! We loved EVERY minute of it! And we are sure to go back!

We stayed at Embassy Suites Orlando in Kissimmee, Florida. The suite was amazing and the hotel was so nice! Loved all of the palm trees and the pool!

We ended up walking to Old Town. It was a really nice and cool amusement park featuring old-time carnival rides. We had a great time there!

We went to Clearwater Beach, Florida. The water and sand was so beautiful there! It was so much fun!

We went to Universal Studios Orlando and Universal City Walk! Both were awesome! 

Loved Universal Studios Orlando! It was so much fun! Spent an entire day there and bought the Express passes!

And we had a really nice time at Universal City Walk! We ate the Bob Marley: A Tribute to Freedom restaurant. Loved the vibe there and the food! So yummy! The yucca fries were fantastic!
